Community Standards

1. Speak Truth in Love

"Therefore, laying aside falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, for we are members of one another." - Ephesians 4:15

• Share accurate information and cite sources when making claims
• Acknowledge when you're unsure or when you've made an error
• Engage in respectful dialogue, even when disagreeing
• Focus on ideas and arguments rather than attacking individuals

2. Honor All People

"Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king." - 1 Peter 2:17

• Treat all community members with dignity, regardless of their background or beliefs
• Avoid discriminatory language or behavior based on ethnicity, nationality, or religious affiliation
• Remember that every person is created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27)
• Welcome sincere questions and create a safe space for exploration

3. Be Quick to Listen, Slow to Speak

"Let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger." - James 1:19

• Read carefully and seek to understand before responding
• Ask clarifying questions when something is unclear
• Consider the perspective and background of other community members
• Take time to craft thoughtful responses rather than reacting immediately

4. Pursue Peace and Unity

"Seek peace and pursue it." - Psalm 34:14

• Focus on what unites us rather than what divides us
• Work toward resolution when conflicts arise
• Apologize when you've wronged someone
• Extend forgiveness when others acknowledge their mistakes

5. Guard Your Words

"Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips." - Psalm 141:3

Prohibited Content:

• Harassment, threats, or personal attacks
• Profanity, vulgarity, or inappropriate sexual content
• Spam, advertising, or off-topic content
• Antisemitic, racist, or other discriminatory language
• Deliberately false or misleading information

6. Build Up One Another

"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up." - 1 Thessalonians 5:11

• Acknowledge good points made by others
• Share helpful resources and insights
• Celebrate learning and growth in the community
• Mentor newer members and answer their questions patiently

7. Accountability and Restoration

"If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private." - Matthew 18:15

When community standards are violated:

• Report inappropriate content through our reporting system
• Moderators will review reported content fairly and promptly
• Consequences may include warnings, temporary restrictions, or account suspension
• Our goal is always restoration and learning, not punishment
• Appeals can be made through our messaging system

8. Remember Our Mission

"Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." - 1 Peter 3:15

We exist to provide thoughtful, biblical answers to Jewish objections about Jesus while fostering respectful dialogue between Jewish and Gentile believers. Let all our interactions serve this holy purpose.
